DEATH PLANET CAST and CREW

Nils Osmar: Producer, Director, Writer and Editor

Nils has written over thirty screenplays and teleplays.  His first feature movie, “Xeros,” was filmed in September 2003, and premiered at Seattle True Independent Film Festival in 2005.

Scott Robinson: Producer and Lead Actor

Scott Robinson grew up in Kirkland, Washington, and discovered his love of acting while attending Inglemoor High School.  Maintaining involvement in drama through college, his stage credits included the leads in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and “The Night of January 16th,” and a role in the University of Washington mainstage production of “The Love of the Nightengale.”

After graduation, Scott directed his pursuit to his true passion: screen acting. Also following a career as a 3D computer animator, he landed small roles in local commercials and independent films.  A lifetime student of martial arts, his first action role came in the martial-arts feature “Equal Impact.”  His collaboration with Nils Osmar began as fight choreographer for “Xeros,” which led to his being cast as the male lead in the action feature Death Planet.

Sam Longoria: Director of Photography

Sam Longoria is a producer, writer, director, editor and cinematographer whose work graces eight Academy Award-nominated films, and one Oscar-winner.  He teaches Cinematography at Hollywood Seminars.

Sam is a member of the Visual Effects Society in Hollywood, having worked on many big-budget visual-effects films, including”Ghostbusters,” “2010: The Year We Make Contact,” and “Dante’s Peak.”

Denise Ryan: Female Lead

Denise Ryan began her acting career in 1997 with a Meisner Intensive Training Program with Larry Silverberg in Seattle. Among others, her stage credits include Cat On a Hot Tin Roof; Lovers and Other Strangers; Romeo and Juliet, It’s A Wonderful Life; the Fringe Production of WILL, and as “Frankie” in the Seattle production of Frankie and Johnny in the Clare de Lune.
