DEMEA began as a stageplay, and was later developed into a feature length film. The stage version premiered at the Seattle Fringe Festival in the 1990s. Demea is an action/adventure story set two hundred years in the future. It’s an epic storyline dealing with war and militarism, love, friendship and betrayal, and a battle for human freedom in the shadow of religious fundamentalism and fanaticism.
